It was Humayun Ahmed who invariably regaled us with his innate power of storytelling. Some days ago I was thinking I would include an essay entitled 'Golpokothok Humayun Ahmed' in my first book of selected essays. For this reason I desired to take an interview of Humayun Ahmed. Since I didn't have any contact with him, I planned to make it through one of my favourite storytellers, Syed Manzoorul Islam.
He was the most famous and popular author, dramatist and filmmaker ever to grace the cultural world of Bangladesh since its independence in Dawn referred to him as the cultural legend of Bangladesh.
Humayun started his journey to reach fame with the publication of his novel Nondito Noroke In Blissful Hell inwhich remains one of his most famous works.
